5 Things Your Bathroom Is Missing

Everyone is familiar with what the bathroom is used for. While some are brushing their teeth, taking a shower, or admiring themselves in the mirror, others are using it for not so pleasant activities. While bathrooms are necessary, most are just plain, boring rooms to get things done that need to be done. However, there may be a few fun items that your bathroom is missing that could make each trip a little more fun and spice up the room a little!

If your bathroom is plain Jane, the addition of greenery and plants such as ferns, bamboo, and aloe can create warmth and add color to the room. Plant them in bold colors or shiny silver or gold containers. The moisture from the shower is the perfect environment for plants to thrive without much attention. As an added bonus, plants also eliminate toxins from the air.

If there is ample space, placing a small padded bench or ottoman in the middle of the room with a natural rug underneath is decorative as well as great seating for drying hair or placing dry towels or robe on it while you shower.

Candles are the ideal accessory to create a mood or ambiance in the room when you want to relax in that warm bubble bath. Candles come in all shapes and sizes and range from small, plain white candles to huge, frosted candles in an array of beautiful colors. Scented candles are extra special, too.4. TRAVEL-SIZED TOILETRIES
For the guest bathroom, place a huge, clear container filled with all of the travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, toothpaste, lotion, soap and body wash that you have collected from your overnight hotel stays. Guests love those little colored soaps, and especially love seeing where they all came from. This type of decor makes an interesting conversation piece as well.

Have you ever been blinded by the bright bathroom light if you get up in the middle of the night? A soft-glare motion sensor light will provide enough light to get the job done without using the light switch. These lights hang directly from the toilet.

A bathroom can be just so-so, or it can be a sanctuary for relaxation and a place to look forward to visiting. Simple, unique accessories can revitalize a boring bathroom and make it exciting!
